| What is Coaching?
Personal Life Coaching
In recent years a time proven communication skill, once thought only for athletes has entered into prominence. Personal Life Coaching has a new face and is dramatically impacting businesses, personal lives and ministries. Coaching supports successful people who want to become more successful, while maintaining their values. Forward thinking Christians, pastors and Christian leaders are reaping the benefits of this powerful new approach. The benefits are evident:
Many are finding that coaching brings balance to their complex life, profitability to their business, meaning to ministry, harmony to relationships, understanding to transitions, and growth to their personal life.
No matter where you are in life, there is always a desire for more: measurable success, deeper, more meaningful relationship with God, more time for important relationships, more money, closer relationships, a deeper feeling of meaning in life, etc. Our nature is to want more out of life. Most of us struggle trying to get what we're looking for.
Having your own life coach does what an athletic coach or music teacher does, only in a more comprehensive way. As your coach I will take the time to find out what is significant to you and challenge you to make those areas your priority.
Coaching By Phone
One of the most unique and positive ideas in Coaching is that it is done by phone. Rather than having to drive to an office you can simply pick up the phone, at the agreed upon time slot, and for the next 30 minutes be coached. This method saves time and money and makes use of the technology we all have.
Choosing a Personal Life Coach
Coaches enter the profession from a variety of backgrounds. However, its important to keep in mind that training, life experience, and maturity matter. Finding the right person that will understand and support you is of utmost importance. As life coaching takes place by phone, it is not necessary to select a coach in your geographic area. Also complete confidentiality is assured.
